Once the patch is installed, you will be able to change the look of the cards by clicking on Display and then clicking on Card Faces. Choose "Small" to get the look of the old cards back. To disable the deal information text, click on Options, then Gameplay Settings, then click on the Appearance and Sound tab. Click on Disable Table Text and then click on OK. The only improvements that the patch introduces are in Online mode, where it brings more stability and lets you "pause after trick".

Once you have installed the patch, you can turn on the delay option after pulling down the Options menu and selecting Game Options.
