Change the Computing Time. . .

The time it takes for Bridge Baron 14 to compute bids, plays and hints is determined by the skill level.

In Macintosh, the skill level can easily be changed by clicking on Options and then Game Options. Click on the box next to where it says Skill Level and then select the level you want. Note that the amount of time for the skill level will appear directly to the right of the selection box.

In Windows, the skill level can be changed by clicking on Options and then NS Pair Options or EW Pair Options, depending on which partnership you are trying to set. A new "Pair Profile" dialogue window will appear. Click on Edit, which is located at the bottom of this window. A new dialogue window will appear and skill level is located about 4 lines down from the top. Click your mouse on the lever and drag it to the left to decrease the skill level. Note that the time it takes for the skill level appears just underneath the skill level bar.

Click on Next if want to continue setting up more options and conventions, or click on Finish if you are done. When you click on Finish, a new dialogue window will come up which requires you to give the new profile a name. Type in any name that you want and then click on OK.
