Demos

The demonstration version below will allow you to try out the software free of charge. There are are number of limitations built into the demo that are not present in the full product:

• There are only 20 unique card shuffles, so after 20 hands the cards you play start repeating.
• The showdown calculator is not enabled.
• You cannot add or edit the configuration of tables or opponents.

System Requirements: Windows 98/Me/NT/XP or Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) or higher, 128MB RAM, 50MB disk space, 400 MHz CPU.

Plug-in API

Announcing the release of the Meerkat API! This API allows developers to create completely custom opponents for use in Poki's Poker Academy. The API and custom opponent is in Java, so knowledge of Java (and of course poker!) is required.

The download contains the meerkat-api.jar file to compile against, the API documentation, a sample bot, and extremely brief instructions. The compiled bot can just be dropped into a special subfolder of Poki's Poker Academy.
